That Girl happens to be my 4 year old daughter Aily Jacklyn going on 5 in June. Over the last couple of years when she tagged along on my photoshoots she would usually be lagging behind trying to catch up. Gee, I wonder who is slow now. Packed with a new Scooter and taking the stance to show she’s running out of patience, she yells "Bump the Sutterspeed and let’s go!", Juuuust one more shot I always reply.

This shot was taken near the footsteps of Zenkoji Temple in Nagano Japan…her playground.

This Self Portrait or rather successful test shot was taken with my new Westcott JS Apollo 50" Softbox and one SB800. I used the Nikon D200 at f/8 and shot the SB800 through it as main. I am also holding on to a reflector down below to brighten up some of the shadows. I’ll probably add and experiment with other lights such as for hair and perhaps something on either side or the background. For the moment, the softbox is perfect for what I am looking for and contrary to what some people say, I felt the Nikon SB800 didn’t have any problem with power shooting through such a large softbox. Note that I also shot using my Nikon SU-800 which triggered the SB800 inside the Softbox with no problems at all. Some people complain about the difficulty in setting the SB800 when it is completely covered in the Softbox, but I found this wasn’t a problem at all if you have something like the SU-800, Pocket Wizard, or simply understand how to shoot manually with your SB800. Since I plan to use this as a main light, I can just set it manually be done with it.
