This is a short video showing what the roads are like on a trip up into the Nagano mountains. The countryside is very green with houses that can be seen in the distant. The roads are narrow with places on the side for cars that need to pull over. There are also large stone structures on the side of the road to keep avalanches at bay which are very common in Japan during the rainy season.
